Balance and billing

HepCloud is prepaid: you top up your balance and usage is deducted from it. There is no monthly commitment.

How charging works

Servers are billed hourly. Charges run until the server is deleted — a stopped server still reserves disk, IP and capacity, so it is still billed. Each server type has a monthly cap: once that month's usage reaches the cap, nothing more is charged until the month ends.

The IPv4 address is billed as a separate line with its own monthly cap. The breakdown on the balance page shows server and IP lines separately.

All amounts shown in the console include VAT.

Topping up

Go to Balance → Top up and pay by card. The minimum top-up is 50 TL, which is enough to launch your first server.

Your card details never reach HepCloud servers — the payment form posts directly to the bank and is verified with 3D Secure. The balance updates immediately and a receipt line appears in your history.

Your billing profile must be complete before you can top up (a legal requirement). If it is missing, the console takes you straight to the form.

If your balance runs out

  1. First 24 hours: your servers keep running and keep being charged. This window is there so you can top up.
  2. Then they are suspended: servers are stopped and charging stops. Your data stays; topping up resumes where you left off.
  3. After about two weeks they are deleted: suspended servers are removed permanently.

Deletion cannot be undone

There is no recovery from the third stage; the server and its disk are destroyed. You will see a warning in the console as your balance runs low — take that warning seriously.

Invoices

A top-up produces a collection receipt, not an invoice. Your invoice is issued in the first days of the month for the previous month's actual usage. If you filled in the corporate block of your billing profile, the invoice is issued to the company; otherwise to you personally.
